Life Lately…

Hi Friends!

Thankfully I got my dishwasher fixed and it didn’t break the bank! I was so worried we were going to have to get a whole new one so I was so excited when the repairman was in and out of our house in under an hour! Woo hoo!

I’ve been trying to keep on up everyone else’s blogs and commenting, but sometimes it just gets ahead of me! I mean I absolutely love reading blogs (why else would I have started one) but I think it might be time to go through my Feedly and recategorize things. How do you you keep track of your favorite blogs? Sometimes I log into Bloglovin, but usually I just open Feedly on my iPhone or iPad. Especially since naps seem to be taking place in my arms and not the crib more often than not these days.

I’ve shown my love for Strange Donuts here and here before, but they posted this on their Instagram the other day and my obsession went to a whole new level. Seriously? How is that not the coolest thing ever.



I’ve been trying to get my act together and I know it’s already half way through January, but I am just now getting around to filling out a new set of #PowerSheets. I’ve attended the Making Things Happen Conference twice (once in FL and once in Chicago, it’s now a two day conference in Chapel Hill), and I’m a huge MTH and Lara Casey fan. I just got her NEW book and I’m so excited to dive into it and get further along in my PowerSheets.

This is my second time filling out the PowerSheets and it is so much fun to look at past sheets and see what did and didn’t work, etc. And even though I’m just now working on these and not on the first of January, I just keep reminding myself of this…

BTR and I are trying to be healthier, which means lots of eating better and maybe I’ll even attempt going to yoga and barre classes again. I always enjoy them after I go, it’s just getting out the door that is my problem. My first thing to get healthier was to slow down on the coffee creamer. So I’ve been actually measuring how much I put in every morning. And I’m amazed at how much I don’t mind the taste of coffee. I used to just drink it black and then I thought I would be fancy and add some flavor. Which eventually turned into a cup of creamer with a splash of coffee. I know you’re really interested so I’ll stop there. Oh but I have had a salad for lunch everyday this week! 3 for 3!

We visited BTR’s grandparents yesterday and I snapped this photo of BTR, Jude, and BTR’s grandpa. Isn’t it just the sweetest?
