Splish Splash

This post is sponsored by SwimZip, but all opinions and wet babies are my own.

Something we’ve always wanted to do is go play in the splash pad in the Citygarden downtown St. Louis, so we decided to head out there this week and check it out! We were also excited to see the new Kiener Plaza that just opened last month!

As excited as I was for the splash pad, I was just as excited to put the boys in their new MATCHING SwimZip shirts and shorts.

Because I’m totally becoming that mom. And I don’t care.

I can’t remember the first time I heard of SwimZip, but I immediately knew it was necessary for Jude. So this is Jude’s THIRD summer wearing SwimZips! He obviously didn’t have it his first summer because he was like 3 months old and we never took him swimming.

The quality of these shirts is amazing and I love it because now Ezra can wear Jude’s old shirts that don’t fit him anymore!

The SwimZip story is pretty incredible (I kind of want to be friends with Betsy, she totally inspires me!) and in case you live under a rock, they were also on Shark Tank a few years ago!

Yes, you could get a swim shirt anywhere, but the cool part about these shirts is the full length zipper up the front.

Because have you ever tried taking a wet shirt off a baby. It’s not fun. At all. Zippers make it easy!

Real quick, let’s talk about the hair on these two. Curls curls curls. And someone might be due for his first haircut!Splish Splash with SwimZip | Ellie And Addie

Back to the shirts. They also keep your kids safe from the sun! The boys wear them every time we go outside to play in our water table. Which is like every day.

SwimZip also has a new line of clothing for the whole family at Shēdo Lane. I am obsessing over the open back shirt and snuggle wrap. I’m pretty sure they will show up at my door step pretty soon since I have little self-control for gray sweaters with pockets.

The boys had so much fun splashing around in the Citygarden! It wasn’t too crowded, but it was about a million degrees. Luckily part of the splash area has trees so there was some shade.

They also had a little pool you could get in, but Ezra was way too little for it so we just stayed away from it. Which was fine because they loved crawling through all the sprinklers.

After playing we explored the rest of the Citygarden and then grabbed lunch at one of the many food trucks lined up! We settled on Pi Pizza because 1. it had the smallest line and 2. I’m obsessed with pizza. We also grabbed some french fries from another truck for the boys.

We also went and checked out the new Keiner Plaza. It looks like such a cool place to have an event! The playground looked like fun for hanging out before a baseball game. It was a bit too hot for us to play, but they do have a small splash are there too! I love how there is tons of parking next to it as well now. We were able to snag a spot at a meter.

So next time you are in STL make sure to check out the Citygarden and the new Keiner Plaza!
